Nature Trails Autumn Yarn Club Colourway Reveal: Kookaburras at Dusk
When I think of autumn, the first thing that comes to mind is vibrant red and yellow autumn leaves. While this is a beautiful part of the autumn experience around the Adelaide Hills, there are many more colours and sounds that define the autumnal atmosphere around my bush home.
One thing I love at this time of year is the sound of the kookaburras at the end of the day.
Kookaburras are absolutely my favourite birds, and I adore hearing them. One of the benefits of the days getting shorter is that we seem to hear a lot of kookaburra chatter around the time when I’m making dinner or popping in and out to take the kids to sports, or grabbing some wood for the fire. Whenever I hear them, I always pause what I’m doing and just soak in that joyful sound. It makes me feel so happy.
I've tried to capture this lovely experience in this colourway for you. I hope you can hear the kookaburras in it.
